Inclusive Education for Disable

An important category of children which needs special coaching, care and environment is of Disable children In District Jalandhar 7895 children of 6-14 age  group were identified in the household survey. According to SSA norms a District Education Development committee has been formulated as given in the Annexures. Various meetings are also conducted for effective functioning of this DEDC and planned to organise assessment campus separately for all categories (Deaf & Dumb, Handicapped, visually impaired etc.) According to the formulated plan after assessment specialised help in the needed area of each such child will be provided.
